All the solutions listed here, did not work for me.
So, I wrote an easy-dummy one that works when other code attempts fails:
ob_start();
phpinfo();
$pi = ob_get_contents();
ob_end_clean();
$order = array("\r\n", "\n", "\r");
$replace = '<br /><font color="grey"><b>';
// Processes \r\n's first so they aren't converted twice.
$newstr = str_replace($order, $replace, $pi);
$newstr = str_replace("=>", "=></b></b></font> </font>
