A simple routine to check if the command is working correctly set_time_limit:
echo date ("H: m: s"), "<br>";
set_time_limit (60);
for ($ i = 0, $ i <1000; $ i + +) {
sleep (1);
    echo date ("H: m: s"), "<br>";
   Â
    ob_flush ();
    flush ();
}
