it is also worth noting that isset() will return FALSE when its argument is a class attribute that
is simply defined with no value given. e.g.
<?php
class Test
{
public static $set;
public static function setTest() {
if(!isset(self::$set)) {
return "not set";
}else {
return "set";
}
}
}
echo Test::setTest(); //returns "not set"
?>
