Beware the values of the predefined constants. They do not always correlate with the actual field types. For example: MYSQLI_TYPE_BLOB: 252 MYSQLI_TYPE_TINY_BLOB: 249 MYSQLI_TYPE_MEDIUM_BLOB: 250 MYSQLI_TYPE_LONG_BLOB: 251 MySQLi will indeed return a value of 252 for a tinytext field, but as you can see, this does not correspond to the value of MYSQLI_TYPE_TINY_BLOB. ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.199 Probable Submitter: 76.251.210.84 ---- Manual Page -- http://php.net/manual/en/mysqli-result.fetch-field.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/111151 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111151/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111151/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111151/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111151/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111151/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111151/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111151 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/111151 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
