this how you make an HTML5 <time> tag correctly <?php echo '<time datetime="'.date('c').'">'.date('Y - m - d').'</time>'; ?> in the "datetime" attribute you should put a machine-readable value which represent time , the best value is a full time/date with ISO 8601 ( date('c') ) ,,, the attr will be hidden from users and it doesn't really matter what you put as a shown value to the user,, any date/time format is okay ! This is very good for SEO especially search engines like Google . ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.199 Probable Submitter: 91.144.1.35 (proxied: 188.247.22.234) ---- Manual Page -- http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/111514 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111514/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111514/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111514/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111514/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111514/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111514/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111514 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/111514 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
