If you want to execute sudo command "example" from php use:
$cmd= "sudo example";
exec($cmd);
and ADD line using visudo to /etc/sudoers
user ALL=(ALL)NOPASSWD:example
where user is username of PHP. No plain text sudo passwords. Less risk.
