You might want to add the possible values for trans_args in the documentation:
(I took this from the source-code):
Access mode (default is READ-WRITE):
IBASE_READ
Isolation level (default is SNAPSHOT (concurrency)):
One of:
IBASE_COMMITTED
IBASE_CONSISTENCY
Lock resolution (default is WAIT):
IBASE_NOWAIT
You may combine them in this way:
IBASE_NOWAIT+IBASE_CONSISTENCY
Example:
$tr_id = ibase_trans(IBASE_CONSISTENCY);
