I searched long and hard for this and finally found it on Wikipedia, so I'm posing it here on a

To use PHP to display a different web page in your browser, i.e. open or show a webpage that
isn't the one containing the PHP code:
header( 'Refresh: 0; url=thankyou.php' );
# or, passing parameters for $_GET['name'] etc.:
header( 'Refresh: 0;
url=thankyou.php?name='.$FTGfirst_name.'&email='.$FTGemail );
