I disagree with the way the control structures are formatted in pear. I believe that they decrease
readibility.
First of all the way I think it should go is this: (using "." instead of " ")
if(condition)
{
}
else
{
}
In my understanding, the way any of the control structures in a C type language (including PHP) work
is that they evaluate the next statement. This can be one statement or it can be a block. In my
opinion, all blocks that use braces should start at the same indent and end at the EXACT same
indent. The content of the block should be tabbed in or spaced in consistantly. This increases the
vertical length of the code, but promotes the ability to easily pinpoint the start and end of a
block.
