I'm having problems with the old child process waiting until finished - but the difference to
all above examples is that I'm coding on a Win32 platform.
I've tried exec, passthru, system etc - but all give the same problem.
I'm trying to run a PHP script from the command line with some output, executing a program in
another window, and then some more stuff in the script:
Basic code:
<?php
# Some stuff here
print "Running: $myProg\n";
system ($myProg);
# Rest of stuff here
?>
I can't use the Linux code to put it in the background... anyone got any ideas?
Cheers!
P.
