In additon to the quick search found on the tips page (http://www.php.net/tips.php).
I have found that the javascript book mark to be very handy, however, if you are like me, you will
have several items open at the same time.<br>
I have installed the book mark in the link directory (ie5) which makes it available all the time as
a nice little button and when clicked opens a new window for the searched item.
To try it, just paste the code into the address bar.
javascript:void(php=window.open("javascript:void(q=prompt('PHP
Reference:',''));if(q)location.href='http://www.php.net/manual-lookup.php?lang=en&pattern='+escape(q)"))
<br>
<p>
To Install it in Internet Explorer:
1) click favorites then "Add to Favorites". In the Name field call it somthing like
"PHP"
2) Select, Create in >>, select the "Links" directory and click OK
3)Now click Favorites > Organize Favorites, then the "Links" directory.
4) Right click on the "PHP" item and select Properties.
5) Select the "Web Documents" tab and replace the URL: with the code above.
Note: The lang is set to en (english) change it accordingly.</p>
I hope you find my modification of some value, and would like to say thanks to the original author.
