In C, each statement is terminated by a semicolon, whereas in Perl, each pair of adjacent statements
is separated by a semicolons. As of php 3.0.12, it appears that statements in php(3)? are separated
by a semicolon. Nevertheless, an empty statement is provided for that extraneous semicolon just
before the end of a block.
