An important note to this... about people using AOL... this is from the AOL webmaster info website

short form: AOL caching ignores meta tags entirely... and EVEN COOKIES CAN BE CACHED AND DELIVERED
TO ANY AOL MEMBER (how's that for a big security hole in most apps?) if the page is not
specifically set as Cache-Control: no-store or Cache-Control: no-cache in the HTTP header.
