I don't know if this is a dumb question but is it possible to let a header() redirect to an FTP
address?
I'm hosting my files on an FTP and I'm letting ppl download using a FORM. I'm using
the following code:
header("Content-Type: application/download\n");
header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=\"$file\"");
header("Location: ftp://127.0.0.1/$section/$file");
But the only browser correctly redirecting the files is Opera (5.12). Both Mozilla (0.9.2) and IE
(5.0) give an error...I don't know if headers are really meant to redirect to an FTP.
