Please note that PHP does not differentiate between double quotes and single quotes when it comes to concatenating. Meaning that you can use this: <?php $var = "hello"; $world = "world"; echo "$var" . '$world'; //outputs hello$world echo "$var" . "$world"; //outputs helloworld echo "$var" . $world; //outputs helloworld ?> so you can use both at the same time, you can use it to evaluate a portion of the string and keep other parts unevaluated. ---- Server IP: 72.52.91.14 Probable Submitter: 61.17.212.16 ---- Manual Page -- http://php.net/manual/en/language.operators.string.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/114848 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/114848/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/114848/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/114848/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/114848/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/114848/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/114848/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/114848 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/114848 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
