Q:
We have got an intranet.
the mail() function doesn't work.
Because i have to set sendmail in php.ini .
But how do i have to do that because my mail
server isn't the same as the www-server and
smtp.jkz-rkz.nl doesn't work.
Can i just put the ip-adres of the mail server
at the smtp= in php.ini.

right now your only chance on a unix box is to
set up a minmal MTA that will forward everything
to a smarthost (or replace the sendmail program
with one that can do the smtp forwarding for
you)
direct SMTP support for UNIX PHP is on my agenda
for 4.0.3
