It is possible to add attachments, and HTML content through the 'mail' function. However,
it is not simple, and requires to know a little of MIME :
It appears to me, after some tests that I did, that MIME is a very general protocol, which does not
really impose a very formal order in the fields that will constitute a mail.
However, mail clients all suppose a more formal order between the fields that constitute a mime mail
- that is, they recognize only a subset of the most general MIME-compliant format-
Though some classes that can be found on the web, announcing that they provide a friendly interface
to send complicated mails with HTML, attachments, etc..., often do not run correctly on the server
you use it, generally because they have been written and tested for a particular platform.
So, you'll eventually have to rewrite this classes, and test them, before having all the
service they are supposed to provide.
An advice : send a mail manually to yourself with HTML and/or attachment, and look at the
'code' of this mail, once you have received it, to look at the format that your
mailtool/smtp server enhances, through the View/PageSource menu (for Netscape messenger - for
exchange, I don't know the option)
