Curiously, getsockname() works for socket_create() and socket_create_pair() Unix-domain (AF_UNIX) sockets if one calls socket_bind() after creation to name the formerly anonymous socket(s). Using a socket_bind() call also results in a file system "file" (socket, first character 's' in an "ls -l" listing) being created with the given name. Such a "file" will need to be removed explicitly, as closing the socket will not remove it. ---- Server IP: 72.52.91.14 Probable Submitter: 71.215.216.6 ---- Manual Page -- http://php.net/manual/en/function.socket-getsockname.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/115751 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115751/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115751/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115751/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115751/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115751/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115751/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115751 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/115751 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
