Note that if you have multiple versions of PHP, your included code may be parsed by a different one
to the main file:
e.g.
/bin/php (PHP4)
and
/opt/local/bin/php56 (PHP5.6)
if main.php is
<? include classes.php;
?>
and is invoked with
/opt/local/bin/php56 main.php
then classes.php may well be parsed with PHP4, giving syntax errors etc., depending on $PATH in your
setup.
