If you have upload progress enabled in your php.ini, and you have <form enctype="multipart/form-data" ... <input type="hidden" name="PHP_SESSION_UPLOAD_PROGRESS" ... in your form, but you DON'T specify an input with 'type="file"', you may lose your session ID. I am using PHP 5.5 and I lose my session ID on the second loading of such a page. To prevent this, you can use a dummy input as follows: <form enctype="multipart/form-data" ... > <input type="hidden" name="PHP_SESSION_UPLOAD_PROGRESS" ... /> <input type="file"' name="dummy" style="display="none;" ... /> ---- Server IP: 72.52.91.14 Probable Submitter: 77.242.202.244 (proxied: 57.79.20.232) ---- Manual Page -- http://php.net/manual/en/session.upload-progress.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/115847 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115847/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115847/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115847/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115847/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115847/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115847/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/115847 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/115847 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
