ad php4 and timezone (4.0.4pl1 UNIX)
this is an amendment to the posting of shirro@align.com.au:
a dummy call to strftime is sufficient to make date etc. work with putenv("TZ=..."), like
putenv("TZ=GMT");
# wrong
print date("Y-m-d H:i:s") . "\n";
strftime("dummy");
# right
print date("Y-m-d H:i:s") . "\n";
I will also report this as a php4 bug.
