For nginx users:
Since we are using nginx, this means that we are using php5-fpm as our fast CGI Process Manager.
Installing GD:
sudo apt-get install php5-gd;
then we must rastart the fast CGI Process Manager to pick up the new extensions. You can do this
with:
sudo service php5-fpm restart;
After this th GD library should be available.
