For some magic reason the putenv('TZ')-thing only works for me (php4, Linux) if I call
mktime after each putenv call:
putenv("TZ=US/Eastern"); mktime(0,0,0,1,1,1970); print "New York:
".date("H:i");
putenv("TZ=Europe/Berlin"); mktime(0,0,0,1,1,1970); print "Berlin:
".date("H:i");
putenv("TZ=Europe/Moscow"); mktime(0,0,0,1,1,1970); print "Moscow:
".date("H:i");
This seems to be a common problem.
