Since my previous post, I have developed a new and better regexp for locating email addresses in
text:
[A-Za-z0-9_]([-._]?[A-Za-z0-9])*@[A-Za-z0-9]([-.]?[A-Za-z0-9])*\.[A-Za-z]+
This regexp requires email addresses to start with an alphanumeric character or an underscore, and
then allows any number of dots or underscores in the account name, but does not allow those dots or
underscores to be adjacent to each other. Same goes for the domain name part, except it does not
permit underscore characters.
