note 117302 added to function.mssql-connect

Please help!! A newbie to php. I have manually installed php 5.6.9 on Windows 7, with IIS7.5. Am trying to connect to SQL Server 2005, i have downloaded drivers and copied the 2 dll files (php_sqlsrv_56_nts.dll and php_pdo_sqlsrv_56_nts.dll) to the "c:\PHP\ext" folder. Made relevant changes in the php.ini file under Extensions as below: extension=php_sqlsrv_56_nts.dll extension=php_pdo_sqlsrv_56_nts.dll But when i try to connect, i get this error: --- Connection could not be established.
