PHP developers don't really know what object orientation means.
Else the above example #2 would be:
$mysqli->query("SELECT 'choices to please everybody.' AS _msg FROM DUAL");
$row = $mysqli->fetch_assoc();
echo $row['_msg'];
instead of:
$res = $mysqli->query("SELECT 'choices to please everybody.' AS _msg FROM
DUAL");
$row = $res->fetch_assoc();
echo $row['_msg'];
Object orientation means objects beeing in a specific state instead of saving that state to local
variables.
