check out my eMail-validation:
eregi ("^[_a-z0-9-]+(\.[_a-z0-9-]+)*@[a-z0-9-]+(\.([a-z]{2,3}))?$",$eMail)
I think it validates only regular eMail-adresses.
If not, don´t be shy and post your annotation or correction.
