As stated in another note, this is a gross misuse of the term "overload" as seen in traditional OOP. It's really bad to see an explanation that "PHP interprets this word differently". The use of __get(), __set(), __call() and friends is actually a technique known elsewhere as "metaprogramming", not overloading. ---- Server IP: 72.52.91.14 Probable Submitter: 177.192.182.157 ---- Manual Page -- http://php.net/manual/en/language.oop5.overloading.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/118099 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118099/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118099/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118099/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118099/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118099/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118099/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118099 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/118099 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
