In today's changed TLS landscape, you might eventually encounter servers which only operate on TLS 1.1 or TLS 1.2, and will actively refuse TLS 1.0 connections. If you're relying on CURLOPT_SSLVERSION's default setting, you'll never make a successful connection to the server. You can solve this by setting CURLOPT_SSLVERSION to either 5 (for CURL_SSLVERSION_TLSv1_1) or 6 (for CURL_SSLVERSION_TLSv1_2) . ---- Server IP: 72.52.91.14 Probable Submitter: 85.159.95.142 ---- Manual Page -- http://php.net/manual/en/function.curl-setopt.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/118536 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118536/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118536/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118536/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118536/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118536/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118536/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118536 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/118536 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
