Unfortunately the developers refuse to support industry PKCS#7 padding mode so users will have to
write that code themselves. This lack of PKCS#7 support cases a substantial number of
interoperability problems.
One may wonder why this is, possibilities include:
1. The mcrypt developers do not care
2. The mcrypt developers have given up
3. The mcrypt developers are not capable
4. The mcrypt developers want to make interoperability hard
5. The mcrypt developers are bozos
Choose one or more.
Sorry but this post is just as ridiculous as not providing PKCS#7 padding support.
Of course I expect this post to be deleted, it is just an attempt to shake the developers up a
little but I suspect that will make no difference since I believe #1 above.
