i gathered all information, i can get about this flush() function in order to get it working under
ie5.x.
finally i tested it succesfully with
ns 4.75
opera 5.11
ns 5.5 sp1
for ($i=0; $i<300; $i++) print (" ");
print ("\n");
for ($i=0; $i<5; $i++) {
echo ($i."<"."br".">\n");
flush();
sleep(1);
}
the 300 blanks forces ie to render the output ;)
