Although PHP refers to periods of time as "intervals", ISO 8601 refers to them as "durations". In ISO 8601, "intervals" are something else. While ISO 8601 allows fractions for all parts of a duration (e.g., "P0.5Y"), DateInterval does not. Use caution when calculating durations. If the duration has a fractional part, it may be lost when storing it in a DateInterval object. ---- Server IP: 72.52.91.14 Probable Submitter: 2602:306:36cd:4d50:a49d:f63e:e062:6ad ---- Manual Page -- http://php.net/manual/en/dateinterval.construct.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/118973 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118973/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118973/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118973/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118973/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118973/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118973/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/118973 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/118973 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
