Be careful, PHP will cast float keys to integers:
nl1.php.net/manual/en/language.types.array.php
<?php
$array = array(
0.9 => 'abc'
);
$key = array_search('abc', $array); // $key = 0;
?>
Use string keys instead:
<?php
$array = array(
'0.9' => 'abc'
);
$key = array_search('abc', $array); // $key = '0.9';
?>
