I figured out why i get this error with just a virtual directory and not the root: 8. Windows: I have installed PHP, but when I to access a PHP script file via my browser, I get the error: cgi error: The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are: --------------------- Look at the php.ini file and look for doc_root = set it to nothing so that it does not only look for that directory.
