The library as well documentation can be found on my website at http://hash-bang.net/2008/12/missing-php-functions-getopts/ It provides functionality for long switches (e.g. '--delete'), incrementing switches (e.g. '-v -v -v' or '-vvv' for very, very verbose), long values (e.g. '--exclude this.file') and lots more.
