I wish somebody would come up with a better way to return the ID of the record that was just
inserted for the unified odbc fuctions. PHP has the function mysql_insert_id()
why not odbc. I've have resorted to requerying the database and using the same data that
I've just inserted as the filtering parameters for the where part. Is there another function
for this? I don't want to have to insert a temp field and put a time stamp and requery for the
latest date or doing my lame way like I've mentioned above.
Thanks,
Le
