Fred Koschara's note
http://php.net/manual/en/language.types.boolean.php#112190
Is not right, or maybe was for an old version of PHP.
Tested on PHP 5.6, 7.0 and 7.1, in all cases, in both
<?php
$x=TRUE;
$y=FALSE;
$z=$y OR $x;
?>
and
<?php
$x=TRUE;
$y=FALSE;
$z=$y || $x;
?>
cases, $z contains the value of TRUE.
