I cant believe this is in official PHPDOC, such an incredible retarded bug, and, best of all, No
explanation at all... this is the kind of things that make PHPCore developers look like fools.
<?php
$date = new DateTime('2000-12-31');
$date->modify('+1 month');
echo $date->format('Y-m-d') . "\n";
$date->modify('+1 month');
echo $date->format('Y-m-d') . "\n";
?>
Result:
2001-01-31
2001-03-03
