to avoid the problems with php in safe mode, when uploading files use this small file: #!/bin/bash cp $1 $2 call it "copy" or something and place it in the same dir as your php3 upload script. Now call from your script to this bash script like "system("./copy $file $file_name");" and the script will place the uploaded files in the same directory as your script. Now you're ready to use the uploaded files and you get no security or other warnings. bye bye!
