Since many people wrote little scripts to generate random sequences, I'll also give mine (which
is slightly faster since it makes use of strlen only once, and uses strings instead of arrays) :
<?php
function code($nc, $a='abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789') {
$l=strlen($a)-1; $r='';
while($nc-->0) $r.=$a{mt_rand(0,$l)};
return $r;
}
?>
