When session.lazy_write is enabled, which is the default behaviour, session data will NOT be UPDATED if it remains unchanged, in this way the WRITE method of the session handler will not be called at all. If your session handler storages session data into files, UpdateTimestamp is used to update the "last modified time" of the session file, if your session handler storages session data into a database, UpdateTimestamp is used to update the table field that storages the last modified time of the session registry. ---- Server IP: 45.112.84.4 Probable Submitter: 103.51.166.36 (proxied: 112.195.232.238) ---- Manual Page -- http://php.net/manual/en/sessionupdatetimestamphandlerinterface.updatetimestamp.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/125060 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125060/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125060/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125060/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125060/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125060/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125060/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125060 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/125060 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
