note 17245 added to function.fseek

If you have a problem using FTELL() you can use FREAD before your actual processing, like so: $fp = fopen("file.txt", "r"); fread($fp, $offset); ...begin processing file... Not sure why Ftell didn't work for me, but this is an alternative -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.fseek.php http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+17245 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+17245 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+17245
