To my knowledge, when using file_get_contents to download a file, the progress can be tracked using
the stream notification hooks. However, when using file_get_contents for POSTing large data sets,
there is currently no way to inform the user or system of upload progress. Perhaps this will save
some people time and research effort in the future and may also be something we wish to add into
PHP's functionality.
In a nutshell, file_get_contents supports download progress notifications, but not upload progress
notifications when performing HTTP POST Request.
