Sometimes you're stuck on a system you don't run and you can't control the setting of
safe mode. If your script needs to run on different hosts (some with safe mode, some without it),
you can code around it with something like:

// Check for safe mode
if( ini_get('safe_mode') ){
// Do it the safe mode way
}else{
// Do it the regular way
}
?>
