Regarding memory_limit notation: If you accidentally configure memory_limit = XXX MB instead of M, PHP will take it as bytes. The documentation is clear about this, but the default php.ini came with a comment that could be very confusing: ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (128MB) I think it will help a lot to change that comment to avoid miss configurations, especially because when debugging using phpinfo() you see that your configuration was taken correctly, and there is no PHP error; so it is not clear that there is anything wrong with your setting even though there is. ---- Server IP: 45.112.84.4 Probable Submitter: 45.91.156.130 (proxied: 2003:e9:7701:4abd:d983:79e1:2a73:db94) ---- Manual Page -- http://php.net/manual/en/faq.using.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/125545 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125545/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125545/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125545/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125545/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125545/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125545/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/125545 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/125545 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
