Very careful when reading PHP documentation, Here's a lot of miss information. According to documentation, They say's (int) 0 == (string) "a" is true. But it is not in PHP 8. var_dump(0 == "a"); // 0 == 0 -> true Now In PHP 8 it's False. ---- Server IP: 45.112.84.4 Probable Submitter: 45.112.85.242 (proxied: 103.145.113.160) ---- Manual Page -- https://php.net/manual/en/language.operators.comparison.php Edit -- https://main.php.net/note/edit/126040 Del: integrated -- https://main.php.net/note/delete/126040/integrated Del: useless -- https://main.php.net/note/delete/126040/useless Del: bad code -- https://main.php.net/note/delete/126040/bad+code Del: spam -- https://main.php.net/note/delete/126040/spam Del: non-english -- https://main.php.net/note/delete/126040/non-english Del: in docs -- https://main.php.net/note/delete/126040/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://main.php.net/note/delete/126040 Reject -- https://main.php.net/note/reject/126040 Search -- https://main.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
