Passing null parameter when the type is a string/structure or any other pointer is saying there is
no data in most C functions, which is a program language PHP is very alike. Which reason, besides
"align with the behaviour of user-defined functions" is there to deprecate this? I mean,
it takes me hours to fix this in my source, without being able to think of a logical improvement
this brings. Besides people who like consistency, just for fact it is consistency, this just seems
to give developers a headache. Ouch! Please get back on this decision!
