Normally I work on a certain Server with the path of the socket explicitally declared, i.e.:
$Host="myhost:/mypath/mysql.sock";
mysql_pconnect($Host, ...);
It worked fine for months. For some misterious reason now I have this strange behaviour: after
mysql_pconnect my variable $Host become "myhost /mypath/mysql.sock", with colon turned
into space.
Someone can explain me this behaviour?
