Note Submitter: venimus at gmail dot com ---- Be warned that before checking the key existence with isset() it will be typecasted to integer if it is not a string or integer! See Example #2 in http://php.net/manual/en/language.types.array.php I.e. $a = ['test']; // 'test' will have key 0 $key = false; var_dump(isset($a[$key]) ); // true
