I use MD5 also for creating names for files that need to be cached, IE.
$cachefilename = "cache/".md5("../blah/whatever.php");
but know raises the question wheter MD5 is a FAST function, or does this
slow things really down? I hope someone can help me with this,
warm regards,
Emile Bosch
